Keralites celebrate ‘Onam’ as visit of their forgone era emperor,
Mahabali to his subjects once in a year. It is told that, Mahabali’s righteous
rule at that time made Kerala a happiest reign. There was no discrimination
among the people on caste, region, economic status etc. There was sans state of
untruth or any deceptive practices such as unfair measurement utensils etc.
People always spoke only truth. Bluffness was dearth among the people at the size
of sesame. Meaning is that truthfulness hailed everywhere. Humans lived here as
equals.
